Grading:
  • 40% - Homeworks
  • 30% - Midterm exam
  • 30% - Final exam
Office hours: after lectures (12:15-1:15); preferably once per week; by appointment, i.e. you should tell me in advance, for example before or on the lecture, that you want to see me after class.
Textbook:
Thomas H. Cormen, Ronald L. Rivest, Charles E. Leiserson, Clifford Stein, Introduction to Algorithms, 2ND Edition, September 2001 (but if somebody has First Edition there is no need to by the Second)
Practical assignments:
  • for practical assignments you can use C/C++
  • all programs should be finished (compilable and working) and should be submitted electronically
  • do not submit programs that do something else than what is asked in the assignment
